- A general focus on a theme: Love, health, career, spiritual development etc
- Relationship/friendship analysis: what the other person thinks/feels about you and the future of the relationship
- Year ahead readings
- Specific questions and choices, e.g. which job should I take? What will happen if I do X? Which of these three options is the best?
- Timings - when is X going to happen?
